Should I put this bio in first or third person? I’ll use first, let’s get personal. What do I want you to know about me once you leave this page?

I love humans. I love learning about them. I’m comfortable in silence and will frequently choose it over speaking because observation is an opportunity to learn.
TMI is non-existent when you’re talking to me. Tell me every detail. My most favorite compliment to receive is that somebody feels safe with me. That is the goal.

I believe acting is an art of empathy.
Often, when people learn I’m an actress their first instinct is to assume that I must be good at lying, and I always tell them that it’s actually exactly the opposite.
As Sanford Meisner said “Acting is living truthfully under imaginary circumstances.”
My goal when I’m acting is to tell the truth. Somebody’s truth. Somebody’s story. And hopefully by doing so somebody watching will have their mind and consequently their heart widened.
I think the most important thing we can all do is acknowledge our shared humanity.

Ask more questions. Make the familiar strange and the strange familiar.

If I could have had 9 majors in college I would have studied Theatre, Music, Sociology, Environmental Science, Microeconomics, Women & Gender Studies, Philosophy, Political Science, and Film.

My Letterboxd Four Favorites are currently When Harry Met Sallly, La La Land, The Breakfast Club, and Inception.
The movies at the top of my Watchlist are The Prestige, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Moonlight, and Before Sunrise.
